  1. What is an eFoil?

    It is an electric powered board equipped with a connected mast and wing (known as hydrofoil or simply foil) that lifts it up above the water allowing you to experience the smoothness of clean and silent “levitation”.

  2. Does the hand controller float?

    Yes, it floats.

  3. Do I need to be good at balancing?

    The best skill that you can bring to your lesson is determination. We have experience teaching how to foil to young 6 years old all the way to the youngest 75 years old. It is basically about having the proper mindset.

  4. Is the propeller dangerous?

    At Seakindly Foil School we teach you how to asses hazards into risk and how to mitigate those risks.

  5. What is the typical ride time?

    The current technology of a Lift efoil allows an average of 90 minutes of ride time. This could be reduced to 60 minutes or extended to about 120 minutes depending on the efoil configuration, your weight to power ratio, riding style, experience and water & wind conditions.

  6. What does the efoil lesson involve?

    The ground school will last 15 to 20 minutes and the flight school will last 30 to 60 minutes. Most people get to Level 2 within the first 5 to 10 minutes and most people are flying within 20 to 30 minutes.
